A sports medicine specialist observes the movements that athletes perform in their sport, identifies their musculoskeletal limitations, and gets them back to participating in the activities they enjoy. These therapists understand the demands of sports in both premiere and recreational activities and tailor the interventions to suit each athlete’s specific needs.
What to Expect
The therapist will begin by assessing body movement and mechanics for the athlete’s mobility, stability, and ability to generate speed and power for their specific sport. They will then create a comprehensive program at the athlete’s level of function to attain their sport specific goals.
Who Would Benefit
All athletes and athletes-at-heart
Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Golf
Football, Basketball, Soccer
Runners, Bikers, Swimmers
You guys are awesome! Thanks so much for all you have done. I can tell you really care about what you do by the way you treat people and talk to them like regular people and just a patient. I’ll miss you a lot. It is nice to have my shoulder back. God bless.Karlyn
