Work conditioning is an intensive, work related, goal oriented conditioning program designed to restore function including strength, power, endurance, range of motion (ROM), and functional abilities.Work conditioning is for those patients who have reached a plateau in traditional physical therapy but do not yet meet the physical demands of their job.
Participants attend 3-5 times per week with sessions lasting 2-4 hours.
Physical Therapists will tailor training sessions to the participant’s specific job demands to allow for safe return to work and injury prevention.
I have never had physical therapy before and had lots of questions about healing my broken foot. My therapist was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I worked my therapy. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend them to family and friends!
