Alex Macken

Physical Therapist, DPT

DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Alex Macken is a physical therapist and the center manager at our Cedar Springs clinic. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Since then he has worked exclusively in outpatient private practice settings.

Alex has experience treating individuals with musculoskeletal injuries across the age spectrum. He is passionate about using a hands-on eclectic approach to help patients achieve their full potential. His philosophy to patient care is not to fit a patient into a certain therapy approach but customize his approach to fit the patient best. Over the past few years, he has completed continuing education courses through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy with the eventual goal to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist.

When Alex is not at work he enjoys fishing, golfing, and mowing his lawn but his favorite leisure time activity is spending time with his family.

Absolutely phenomenal service and care provided by all levels of staff! A true focus on caring about your recovery but also you as a person. I was beyond impressed in my time with them as a patient. I would highly recommend choosing Hulst Jepsen for your care.
