While breastfeeding, an obstruction of milk flow can occur in the ductal system of the breast. This can lead to inflammation and/or infection of the breast, also known as mastitis. Most often this occurs early on, in the first 6-8 weeks postpartum, however, it can happen at any time while breastfeeding.
**If you are experiencing any signs or symptoms of infection, such as swelling, redness, or heat, it is recommended that you contact your doctor first to rule out infection and receive an appropriate antibiotic if needed.
I have been in physical therapy too many times. I have found Hulst Jepsen is my favorite. They are always on time, very knowledgeable, and are always upbeat, and very friendly. Thanks for taking care of me.
