Eileen Kishman is a licensed physical therapist at our Grand Rapids City clinic and at our Pelvic Rehabilitation Center in Hudsonville. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan- Flint in 1986. After graduation, Eileen worked in the hospital system for three years, followed by 33 years of work in various outpatient settings in Grand Rapids. She was one of the first therapists in Grand Rapids to treat women’s health patients. In her past, she taught postpartum and aquatic prenatal exercise classes. In addition, she taught post-mastectomy classes at Gilda’s Club. Eileen was also an adjunct faculty member at Grand Valley’s Physical Therapy Program for ten years, instructing the students in women’s health physical therapy.

Eileen has completed post-graduate courses through the APTA and Herman and Wallace pelvic rehabilitation institute, along with her lymphedema certification from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.

She specializes in women’s and men’s health, including pelvic pain/back pain, coccyx pain, incontinence, urinary or fecal urgency/frequency, constipation, diastasis recti, prenatal and postpartum pain/weakness, osteoporosis, lymphedema, and cancer-related issues. She has a passion for treating pregnant, postpartum, and breast cancer patients. She enjoys working with the medical community and her patients to help provide a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.

In her spare time, she enjoys all forms of exercise, reading, the lake, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and friends.
