Work conditioning is an intensive, work related, goal oriented conditioning program designed to restore function including strength, power, endurance, range of motion (ROM), and functional abilities.Work conditioning is for those patients who have reached a plateau in traditional physical therapy but do not yet meet the physical demands of their job.
Participants attend 3-5 times per week with sessions lasting 2-4 hours.
Physical Therapists will tailor training sessions to the participant’s specific job demands to allow for safe return to work and injury prevention.
I’ve been doing physical therapy at Hulst Jepsen for about 7 weeks since surgery on my hip and it’s been a great experience! They definitely go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and have made the recovery process a more enjoyable experience.
