Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy combines the benefits of buoyancy and resistance to assist movement, progress strength, gait, and balance.

What to Expect

An initial evaluation by one of our physical therapists may be on land or scheduled right at the pool to establish your baseline. This can be performed at any one of our locations most convenient for you.

Following your evaluation you will be scheduled at one of our 2 pool locations: Our Wyoming clinic or ISR Swim Safe- Jenison

The therapist will be in the pool to instruct and assist you with an individualized exercise program. You are not expected to swim—sitting, standing, and walking exercises are done without getting your hair too wet!

I had therapy (elsewhere) and I never really thought it helped. At Hulst Jepsen, I had a much better experience. The people that work there are warm and caring. They kept track of my progress and pushed me to get better. I can do so much more without pain! Thank you all!
