She prioritizes patient education regarding each therapy diagnosis and pain response, and empowers patients to get back to the activities they enjoy. She has extensive clinical experience working with patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, as well as chronic pain conditions. Tamara’s research on extremity strength training in patients with Fibromyalgia is published in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies. Tamara is pursuing an advanced manual certification through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) as well as courses integrating yoga and physical therapy.
Tamara loves participating in all sports and has competitive experience in basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and ultimate frisbee. She particularly enjoys being active outside, backpacking and spending time with her husband, son and dog.
