Tamara is a licensed physical therapist at our Grand Rapids City location. Tamara completed her Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. Her physical therapy passions include utilizing a hands-on, manual approach paired with individualized exercises. She prioritizes patient education regarding each therapy diagnosis and pain response and empowers patients to get back to the activities they enjoy. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with a passion for all orthopedic and sports-related injuries, running injuries and video gait analysis, Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD), and chronic pain conditions.

Tamara loves participating in all sports and has competitive experience in basketball, soccer, volleyball, track, and currently plays ultimate frisbee. She particularly loves running, yoga, and being active outside with her husband and two sons.
