Rachel McDonald

Rachel is a licensed physical therapist at our Rockford location. She grew up in Jackson, Michigan, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University. She continued her education at Grand Valley, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021.

Rachel gained some insight and experience in a variety of different specialties while completing her outpatient orthopedic clinical rotations in PT school. These specialties include Applied Functional Science (AFS), MDT, and Psychologically Informed Care. She is also trained in integrative dry needling. She enjoys treating patients across the lifespan with a variety of diagnoses and is passionate about building relationships and connecting with her patients. She strives to keep patients actively involved in their plan of care and prioritizes their personal goals for therapy in order to ensure they are getting the best possible care and can return to the activities they enjoy.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys being active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Her favorite activities include biking, hiking, playing pickleball, and attempting to play golf.
