What is shockwave? Shockwave is an acoustic wave that carries high energy to painful spots and muscles. This energy promotes the regeneration of tendons and other soft tissues.
Treatments last 10-15 minutes and results can be felt within 3-4 treatments. Our Rockford and Kentwood clinic uses the Dolorcast system, which is the same system that is employed by Mayo Clinic.
Chronically painful conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonosis, rotator cuff dysfunction, and tennis elbow that haven’t responded well to traditional treatment may respond to this type of treatment.
My experience with Hulst Jepsen was wonderful! My therapist was very thorough and got me back walking again in a short time! I really hated to discontinue my therapy as I absolutely enjoyed my time there. Thanks to all who were instrumental in making this possible for me!
