Karen is a physical therapist and center manager at our Rockford location. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2007 where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, as well as Andrews University in 2016 where she received her Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy degree. Karen has a passion for working with sports and orthopedic injuries. During her college career she played basketball for Western Michigan University, in which she suffered an ACL tear, underwent physical therapy, and her passion for physical therapy ensued. She has completed her COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist) from NAIOMT (North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy). In addition, she completed her fellowship from the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) to enhance her manual physical therapy skills.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys playing basketball, rollerblading, as well as spending time with her family.

Thank you for your help in my recovery. Wade and Marla have certainly helped me with their therapy after the knee surgery and the broken arm. All of you have been extremely kind as you guided me through the various exercises that have re-energized the many muscles that have helped me walk and get close to normal again. Your smiles, encouragements, the family atmosphere has been very helpful throughout the process. It starts with the smile and welcome that Kayla gives each time I walk in the door.
