Sarah Hyde

Physical Therapist, DPT, CIDN

DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy
CIDN – Certified Integrative Dry Needling

Sarah Hyde is a licensed physical therapist at our Kentwood clinic. Sarah was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Michigan to attend Calvin College. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a minor in dance from Calvin in 2017, she attended Grand Valley State University and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.

Sarah enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses and is passionate about providing a holistic approach to physical therapy that sees and addresses each person as a complex and integrated being. Her approach combines manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to address the root of the problem while enabling patients to take charge of their own health. Sarah has a specific passion for helping patients dealing with complex and chronic pain and is regularly pursuing education in this area. She is intentional about spending plenty of time educating her patients and arming them with the knowledge and tools they need to understand and overcome their pain.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading good books, writing, creating things, cuddling kittens, petting dogs, going on adventures with her husband, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I very much appreciate their quality of care and also, equally important, their welcoming environment. I also appreciate learning and having a conversation regarding my care and my treatment plan. I would say this is the most receptive and caring group of providers I’ve found in this field and that I truly enjoy going to PT.
