DScPT – Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy
Nicky Ghareeb is a licensed physical therapist at our Rockford clinic. Nicky has over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist. She graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1991 where she received her BSc in Physiotherapy. After immigrating to the USA in 1992, she continued her studies in manual therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute, receiving her Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (MOMT) in 1997. Nicky furthered her education and received her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI in 2009.
Nicky has strong manual therapy skills and enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions, especially neck pain, headaches, and temporomandibular disorder (TMD). She specializes in treating patients with Lymphedema, as well as Chronic Veinous Insufficiency, and has over 20 years of experience in treating these conditions.
She utilizes a “hands-on” approach with all of her patients and is committed to returning her patients to their previous level of function by designing individualized programs.
In her spare time, Nicky enjoys international traveling, spending time at Lake Michigan, working in her yard, and snowshoeing, as well as spending time with her family.
