AJ Thomson

DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Alec (AJ) Thomson is a licensed physical therapist at our Grandville location. He grew up in Jackson, Michigan, and attended Hope College where he received his Bachelor of Art in Exercise Science in 2017, Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2019 from Western Michigan University, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022 from Grand Valley State University.

AJ is completely dedicated to improving patient independence and function. He has experience in and enjoys treating patient populations throughout their lifespan from pediatric to geriatric as well as post-operative rehabilitation. His goal with physical therapy is to provide individually tailored treatments to each one of his patients in order to address their unique needs.

In his spare time, AJ enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys being outside hiking, kayaking, and playing with his Blue Heeler, Luna.
