Amputee Rehabilitation

We understand how your life and your mobility can change significantly when you undergo an amputation and are learning how to use a prosthetic device. Our physical therapists are passionate about helping you to achieve your mobility goals and return to the activities that you love.

What to Expect

Our team of physical therapists will evaluate your strength, range of motion, coordination, and assess your current level of mobility. We create rehabilitation goals to help  you return to the activities that you love to do. We will teach and train you how to manage your post-operative wound and your residual limb.  Our therapists collaborate with your prosthetist to optimize the fit and function of your residual limb and minimize discomfort, pain, or improper fitting. We will teach you how to use your prosthetic device to maximize your safety and independence with your activities of daily living.

Thank you for your help in my recovery. Wade and Marla have certainly helped me with their therapy after the knee surgery and the broken arm. All of you have been extremely kind as you guided me through the various exercises that have re-energized the many muscles that have helped me walk and get close to normal again. Your smiles, encouragements, the family atmosphere has been very helpful throughout the process. It starts with the smile and welcome that Kayla gives each time I walk in the door. Thanks so much to each of you for your caring attitude.
