Tom is the founder and CEO of Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy and works primarily in the Kentwood clinic. Tom graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in physical therapy in 1989 and then received his advanced Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1994.
Tom became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 1995. Tom’s excellent clinical skills were recognized by his peers when he was voted Physical Therapist of the Year by the Western District of the MI Physical Therapy Association in 1996. Tom’s commitment to clinical excellence is also reflected in the 40+ continuing education courses he has taken on a variety of topics, but all focused on manual therapy. Tom enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic, spinal, and sports injuries along with post-surgical conditions from pediatrics to geriatrics.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf and basketball as well as coaching his daughters’ teams.
