Sarah was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Michigan to attend Calvin College and never left. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a minor in dance from Calvin in 2017, she attended Grand Valley State University and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.
Sarah enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses, and is passionate about providing a holistic approach to physical therapy that sees and addresses each person as a complex and integrated being. Her approach combines manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to address the root of the problem while enabling patients to take charge of their own health. Sarah has a specific passion for helping patients dealing with complex and chronic pain.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys exercising, choreographing for and dancing with her church’s dance team, reading good books, writing, creating things, cuddling kittens, petting dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
I could not be more pleased with how I was treated from start to end at the Rockford branch. Curt is great at giving you time with him, asking the right questions and, just as importantly, explaining the reasons for my treatment regimen to me. I would return to get treatment from him in a heartbeat. Yvette is the best and makes you feel important all the time. Finally, the “student” staff are a great addition to the overall treatment too, fun to be around and already dedicated.Terry
