DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy
CIDN – Certified Integrative Dry Needling
Sarah is a licensed physical therapist at our Kentwood clinic. Sarah was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Michigan to attend Calvin College and never left. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a minor in dance from Calvin in 2017, she attended Grand Valley State University and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.
Sarah enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses and is passionate about providing a holistic approach to physical therapy that sees and addresses each person as a complex and integrated being. Her approach combines manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to address the root of the problem while enabling patients to take charge of their own health. Sarah has a specific passion for helping patients dealing with complex and chronic pain.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys exercising, choreographing for and dancing with her church’s dance team, reading good books, writing, creating things, cuddling kittens, petting dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Everyone is always super kind and friendly. I know physical therapy can be embarrassing or sometimes scary, but put your mind at ease. You won’t feel any of that when you meet them. I highly recommend Hulst Jepsen. Great staff! Very knowledgeable.
