Lindsay Straw

Physical Therapist, DPT

DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Lindsay is a physical therapist at our Cedar Springs clinic. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2018. That’s when she started working as a physical therapy tech at our Cedar Springs clinic while she continued her education at GVSU until she graduated in 2022 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

She loved her time as a tech at Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy because the outpatient setting allowed her to build relationships with patients and see them progress over time. She’s excited to finally be able to take everything she’s learned in school and in her clinical experience to help make a positive impact in her patients’ lives, improve their functional mobility, and help them achieve their goals. Lindsay’s areas of patient interest include orthopedic manual therapy, working with the geriatric population, and helping injured athletes return to their sport.

Lindsay grew up in Waterford, MI before moving to West Michigan to attend college. When she’s not at work Lindsay enjoys playing soccer, running, walking her German Shepherd, boating, and spending time with her fiancé and high school sweetheart, Anthony.

The therapists are concerned about the patient’s well-being, positive atmosphere, and encouragement–all attributes so needed with a patient in pain. They treat me like a person, not a number, and care about my life. And the receptionist is so accommodating to a person’s schedules.
