DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Joyce is a licensed physical therapist at our Caledonia location. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Case Western Reserve University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Joyce also has further training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, pain neuroscience, and dry needling.

Joyce strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help people get back to the activities they love. She believes that care should address more than symptoms, but each patient as a whole person. Joyce connects with patients of all ages and activity levels. She has a particular passion for postpartum mothers returning to sport, patients with vestibular disorders, and improving balance and confidence in the geriatric population. With experience as a collegiate rower, Joyce has a special interest in treating athletes.

In her free time, Joyce enjoys playing volleyball, running, practicing yoga, and creating art. On the weekend, you’ll find her outside, at Church, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

I had therapy (elsewhere) and I never really thought it helped. At Hulst Jepsen, I had a much better experience. The people that work there are warm and caring. They kept track of my progress and pushed me to get better. I can do so much more without pain! Thank you all!
