James Clark

James is a licensed physical therapist and the assistant center manager at our Gaines Township clinic. He grew up in the Byron Center and Kentwood area. James attended Grand Valley State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Science in 2015 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018.

James enjoys working in the outpatient orthopedic setting and utilizes a patient-centered, hands-on approach. He enjoys treating patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics including post-operative. James is dedicated to improving his patient’s quality of life and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals to return to their passions. James recognizes the importance of evidence-based practice and strives to provide the best quality of care to all of his patients. James is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. He is also pursuing further education and training in concussion management as well as rehabilitation for individuals with amputations.

In his free time, James enjoys spending time with his wife, sailing on his grandfather’s sailboat, fishing on Lake Michigan, hiking, camping, and hosting family and friends at their house.
