DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy
Amanda is a licensed physical therapist at our Pelvic Rehabilitation Center in Hudsonville. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Hope College with a minor in French. After spending 2 years working as a physical therapy tech and coaching a competitive dance team, she continued her education at the University of Michigan-Flint to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015.
Amanda has spent the past few years working with orthopedic and pelvic pain patients. She has experience treating patients with a variety of conditions including chronic pain and many post-operative conditions. Her passion has always been in pelvic health and she has experience treating women with pelvic pain, urinary urgency and frequency, stress urinary incontinence, pregnancy, and postpartum-related issues. Amanda has completed Sarah Duvall’s Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification and loves working with newly postpartum women as they navigate their changing bodies. Though Amanda loves manual, hands-on treatment, she also enjoys teaching people how movement can improve their conditions.
When not at the clinic, Amanda enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and being outside with her dog and family. Amanda and her husband grew up in the Chicago suburbs so they’re often hosting family or heading “home” to visit friends and family or to catch a Chicago Bears game. She is the mom to identical twin boys and 2 daughters.

Being referred to Hulst Jepsen for physical therapy changed my life. Everyone is pleasant, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the first visit, I began learning techniques that made a real difference in my health and life. After only 7 visits, I have taken control of problems that had plagued me for years. I could not be more grateful.
