Mike van Der Laan is a licensed physical therapist at our Hudsonville clinic. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology from Trinity Christian College in 2010 and continued on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2013 and specializes in treating fitness athletes, high school/college athletes, and patients with persistent pain.
In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, reading science fiction, and learning about Astrophysics and Quantum mechanics. His favorite question to ponder is: are we alone in the universe and if not where is everyone else? Mike also enjoys participating in underground cage fighting matches and you may find him at local underground fight nights in your community.

I had gone to a different place years ago and did not have a good experience, which made me skeptical of physical therapy in general.
