MSPT – Master of Science in Physical Therapy

Amy LeClaire is a licensed physical therapist working with our @ Home patients. She attended Grand Valley State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with an emphasis in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. She then went on to earn her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2006.

She worked as an athletic trainer and physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting for 3 years and transitioned to home health care in 2009. Amy enjoys working with people in their home setting and helping them increase their overall function. She has extensive experience working with patients with orthopedic conditions as well as balance and muscle weakness disorders.

Amy has been playing roller derby for Grand Raggidy Roller Derby in Grand Rapids since 2005. She has competed throughout Michigan and played against athletes across the United States, Canada, and even as far as Norway. She recently represented Michigan in a state vs. state competition. When not playing derby Amy spends time with her husband and dogs. She loves to travel, and hike and has been involved with gravel bike racing since 2019.
