She has training in running gait analysis and has taken a special interest in spinal manual therapy, completing an Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification (OMT-C) in 2018.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Rachel attended Miami University (MU) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. As a member of the MU Cross Country team, she led the team to the University’s first Mid-American Conference championship win in 2008. She also competed for GVSU in Track and Field where she became a three-time NCAA DII National Champion. Her efforts assisted the team to win the NCAA DII National Championship in indoor track & field (2011) and outdoor track & field (2012). Her experience in collegiate athletics drives her to assist athletes of all age ranges to return to training or competition.
Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, whether going for a run, paddle boarding, gardening, or traveling to new places. She especially enjoys these activities alongside her husband, Tom, and her dog, Mia.

I had gone to a different place years ago and did not have a good experience, which made me skeptical of physical therapy in general. However, after going to Hulst Jepsen I can say I appreciate and thank everyone there for taking such good care of me and really caring for everyone that comes through the door.
