Michaela Mattern

Physical Therapist, DPT

DPT – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Michaela is a licensed physical therapist at our Wyoming location. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lindenwood University, in Missouri, in 2017 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Grand Valley State University in 2020.

Michaela firmly believes that individualized, evidence-based care and empathy are the keys to success for a patient’s physical therapy rehabilitation. Her treatment philosophy is to make sure each and every patient feels heard and valued, and to treat each patient as a whole person (not just their medical diagnosis).┬áMichaela’s passion lies in treating women with pelvic floor dysfunction and other women’s health and wellness needs such as prenatal and postnatal care. She is excited to work with you to achieve your personal goals.

Outside of the physical therapy world, Michaela enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, camping, trying new vegan baking or cooking recipes, and spending time with family, friends, and her boyfriend Eric and their dog Kota.

The HJPT Cutlerville team is great, and if I need therapy again I will be coming right back! They genuinely care about their patients–they don’t just do their jobs, they care about you and your life. They’re like friends and family!
