Amy is a licensed physical therapist with Hulst Jepsen @ home. Amy grew up in Sturgis, MI, and Grand Rapids, MI. Amy earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from South College in Knoxville TN. Amy also has 2 degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Michigan State University (1997) and Florida State University (2000).
Amy is currently pursuing her certification in MDT through the McKenzie Institute. Her clinical experience includes home health, long-term care, and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She enjoys working with patients with back and neck pain, chronic pain, and other orthopedic and neurologic conditions including balance, Parkinson’s Disease, and vestibular conditions. She also has a special interest in treating musicians with performance-related injuries. She enjoys getting to know her patients, hearing their stories, and helping them get back to the activities they love.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her extended family including 11 nieces and nephews, and her yellow lab. She also enjoys spending time with church activities, hiking local trails, going to the beach, and playing the piano.

I have always enjoyed coming to my therapy appointments and always left feeling better than when I came in. I am able to go about my day without pain, compared to before when I was in pain constantly and unable to do many daily tasks.
