What to Expect

  • Working with managers and leadership team to coordinate and execute community events and clinic specific physician/referral source outreach plans.
  • Work closely with the Director of Brand and Content Marketing to ensure consistent message in all areas of marketing.
  • Expand and develop physician and community relations in West Michigan through open and interactive communication.
  • Tracks all local sponsorship expenses and fulfills all sponsorship and event needs including, but not limited to promo items, event set-ups, coordination with organizers, and attending community events.
  • Responsible for sending out referral pads, Christmas cards, new clinic opening news, and other miscellaneous mailings.
  • Responsible for coordinating and attending events on behalf of Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy.
  • Executes grassroots marketing by dropping off promo items to referral sources.
  • Sets up meetings with physician offices and other referral sources to maintain and create new partnerships.
  • Runs companywide referral reports and advises clinicians on referral source trends to establish sales strategies and ensure ROI of marketing efforts.
  • Update and maintain physician notes in CRM system.
  • Populate excel spreadsheet of top referring doctors on the networking spreadsheet.
  • Engage staff to participate in and promote marketing and outreach programs.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in field marketing or related field. Healthcare industry experience not required but preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in cold calling, new relationship development, and tactics to identify and make productive contacts.
  • Sound judgment on when to ask for help and what should be referred to management.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, priorities, deadlines, and easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to perform tasks of varying levels with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Maintain professional image as a representative of the company.
