Lisa Vis, M.S.P.T.Lisa Vis, M.S.P.T.
Lisa is a physical therapist and co-manager at our Grandville location. She received both a Bachelor of Health Science and Master’s of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. She has been working as a physical therapist for 8 years. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings including: home health care, inpatient acute care, and outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.

Lisa has a strong manual therapy background and enjoys treating people for whiplash, headaches, back pain, SI dysfunction, and general orthopedic injuries. She also specializes in women’s health treatment of pelvic pain, incontinence, coccyx dysfunction, and pregnancy related back pain. She incorporates her manual therapy skills into her women’s health treatment for optimal results. She utilizes a “hands on” approach to treatment with a strong emphasis in manual therapy. She designs individualized programs to fit the specific needs of her patients. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and is devoted to delivering quality care in order to ensure the best outcomes for all patients.
Kendra Walters, M.S.P.T.Kendra Walters, M.S.P.T.
Kendra received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Trinity Christian College and her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University.  She has experience in various clinical settings including inpatient acute care, home health, school therapy, and outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.  The last 9 years of Kendra’s clinical experience have been in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis in general and sports orthopedics.  She specializes in post surgical and athletic extremity injuries, utilizing a functional exercise program in conjunction with strong manual therapy skills.  She looks at the whole body and how it relates to the specific injury and develops an individual program for each of her patients.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages and is devoted to delivering quality care in order to ensure the best outcomes for all of her patients.  Prior to joining the team at HJPT she practiced in Holland, MI where she established herself as a strong manual orthopedic therapist effectively treating musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical injuries.  Kendra now serves the communities surrounding the HJPT Grandville office located west of Wilson at 4124 56th.
Karen Asekomeh, D.P.T.Karen Asekomeh, D.P.T.

Karen is a physical therapist at our Grandville and Caledonia locations. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2007 where she received her doctorate of physical therapy. Karen has a passion for working with sports and orthopedic injuries. During her college career she played basketball for Western Michigan University, in which she suffered an ACL tear and underwent physical therapy. Currently, she is pursuing a certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from NAIOMT (North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy) to further develop her manual skills. 

In her spare time, Karen enjoys playing basketball, rollerblading, as well as spending time with her daughter and family.
